First let’s get the bad news out of the way. Despite our good intentions, we have yet again found ourselves being a little premature when it comes to getting back out there for live shows. Up until yesterday we really hoped we could play our early May dates in Southern California but it was not to be.

After carefully considering the restrictions placed on indoor live venues and the possibility that the shows could be heavily limited in capacity, we have chosen to hold off and move them to a time when we can finally feel confident they will not only happen, but be safe for all and packed to the brim.

We will announce new dates for The Coachhouse and the Agoura and Montclair Canyon clubs very soon.

As the vaccines continue to roll out at a rapid rate, things are starting to look up and the possibilities of a return to normality are on the very near horizon.
Many new shows have been booked for 2021 and we hope these So Cal dates will be the last that have to move.

Lots more shows to come.

We are more than ready to bust out of this pandemic induced cocoon but we want to do it in a way that keeps our wonderful audiences safe and care-free as they should be at Young Dubs gigs.

So please accept our apologies for the postponements, as we know many of you planned on making this your first step back into the world of live music.

Time to mend old differences

Now, on a far more positive note, we have added some amazing shows for the summer. YD are now booked to play at three major Irish Festivals. Celtic Fling in PA, Iowa Irish Festival in Waterloo IA and one more that will be announced in the coming weeks.

Our first shows will be in Grand Junction, Colorado where we are co-headlining the Grand Valley Highland Games and Ceilidh. What a way to get back at it!

Many more outdoor shows are planned in California and beyond. All the dates are on our TOUR PAGE but remember, there will be many more. Please check back to the tour page regularly.

In other exciting news, the Young Dubs have all been vaccinated and encourage all of you to do the same. It’s a huge feeling of relief and the quickest ticket to normality.

A July tour of Montana,Wyoming and South Dakota is in the works and there will be some big announcements for August, including a massive festival and a trip up to the far north.

We are determined to play as many shows as we can book in the summer and Fall, not to mention our Ireland Trip in early November.

Things are starting to open up and we just need a few more weeks to let that happen and then we’ll head back out on the road and bring you as much Celtic rock ‘n roll as you can handle.

Thanks for sticking with us throughout this phenomenally tough time and sorry for the ups and downs. Soon it will be nothing but UP!

Much love,
Keith, Chas, Justin, Dave, Ethan and all our crew around the globe.
